Man Marries His Stepmother In Odd Wedding Ceremony

Eric Holder and his former step-mother Elisabeth Lorentz
This practice might sound strange and abominable to us African, but we must be true to ourselves that such things happen in few places around us, ours might not result to marriage but we have seen, step moms having romantic feelings for their step sons, I mean the grown up one ones.

A similar thing happened somewhere in Imo state, when the first son of a village head was inlove with his father’s 3rd wife, who was younger than him, this love blossom and was glaring, people around saw them, but the village head was blindly inlove with his new wife to even understand what was going on, he just felt that his son was being nice and acceptance of his 3rd wife……’the man is always the last to know right..lol
The whole thing came to the light, when the young man took a wife, he brought home a beautiful damsel, and she was so beautiful that women wonder why God gave her this amount of beauty. Ofcourse the young man ended his affair with his step mum, but this woman won’t take no for an answer. On this fateful day, she had it all planned, She Boiled water in a medium size pot with fresh pepper, the young lovers went out and was returning, on entering the back yard to go prepare food for her husband, the jealous step mum, lifted the boiling water and poured it on her, her skin peeled instantly! Thank God, there was money, they took her abroad for treatment, when she returned, she was spotless. That incident revealed what has been happening behind closed door. Therefore, it’s not strange, am sure some people will have more interesting story than this…lol. Fondness can lead to a love affair.

An unusual marriage of a stepmother and a stepson took place in a small village of Dabo in Alsace-Lorraine, north-east France.
Elisabeth Lorentz finally tied the knot with her stepson, Eric Holder, after fighting for months with French authorities for the right to marry. Ms Lorentz married Mr. Holder’s father in 2003, but they separated three years later. Ms Lorentz told French media her former husband instigated the break up.
“I was not expecting it, it was a shock. I was an adult so I made do, but our daughter who was nine-years-old felt the separation very badly. She cried every day. That’s when Eric became great support for us and our relationship evolved.”

With Mr. Holder and Ms Lorentz’s friendship soon developing into a love affair, it wasn’t long before he proposed. But quickly they ran into trouble with French law, which prohibits all unions between stepchildren and step-parents – even former ones.

Fighting for their love for several months the couple finally obtained the right to marry from a local court in north-east France in June. The ex-husband of the bride, who is also the father of the groom, was to be among the 100 or so guests at the civil and religious ceremonies in Dabo.
“At last, it’s the big day! I simply hope that our story will be useful to other couples in our situation, because I know there are some. Eric’s father, who is also my ex-husband agrees perfectly to our history. He has always supported us. Our girls too,” Ms Lorentz said.
