Jonathan May Lose The Support Of South-East In 2015 Race.

It was revealed that stakeholders led by state governors in theSouth East were set to take out their support for Jonathan if he failed to call some erring officers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to order.
Many shareholders and power brokers from this geo-political zone were not satisfied with the careless handling of the representatives congresses by the headship of the PDP ran by Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu and were already searching for a ‘Plan B’ for the 2015 elections if Jonathan allows the situation to continue.
One of the top members said anonymously that the governors and other main shareholders were angry with the national body of the party for trying to stimulus the choice of governorship candidates in the South-East.
It was collected that they were astonished that Jonathan failed to assert his authority on Mu’azu.

The PDP governors, it was gathered, were concerned that the national grading of the party has not allowed them to control the party structure in their states.
It was said in the statement, “This is happening because Jonathan is losing grip of the party and allowing Mu’azu to call the shots as the leader instead of the other way round. If he does not call Mu’azu to order, I can assure you that he will lose the support of the governors in his presidential election. Politics is ‘rub my back, I rub yours.”
President Goodluck Jonathan, who has been expected to declare for months, ordered the set-up of presidential declaration committee saddled with the responsibility of coming up with a formal programme for his declaration.
The members determined to fix Jonathan’s declaration for November 11.
