Gen. Muhammadu Buhari Emerged As President Elect (SEE FINAL LIST)

After stiff competition between the ruling Political Party PDP and the opposition Political  Party the APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari who contested under the platform of APC emerged as the winner.

This was announced after 48 hours of releasing the Presidential Election results by INEC, which was done in batches, but finally the winner was announced  early hours of April 1st, 2015.

Right before INEC final announcement, celebrations erupted within the country as Nigerians celebrates the in coming government.

Our democracy took a new turn when President Jonathan, the incumbent, congratulated Gen. Buhari via a telephone call, which has been described as an act of statesmanship.

President Jonathan have been praised  and  various encomiums and accolade  from admirers flooded the social media, commending him for conceding defect and allowing a fair electoral process to prevail.

PDP has being in power for 16 years and has been accused of corruption among other things, irrespective of the security challenges faced by the out going President , Goodluck Jonathan, his administration recorded some giant steps, such as rebasing of the economy and emerging as the largest economy in Africa among other achievements.

Congratulation to Gen. Buhari for his doggedness and subsequent victory.
