Demand and supply which sometimes is fueled by Corruption influences the value of property in some choice locations within Nigeria. for instance once an area is mapped out for development and  politicians show interest in such area, suddenly the value of properties within such location  increases  rapidly for no reason. Land that is ordinarily should worth 1.5m, the moment a politician buys a piece for outrageous amount and begins construction of multi million  mansion,  the prices of plots within same area automatically skyrockets for no just course. this is also applicable to built properties.

As the new administration takes over,politicians will reduce their spending.They will now be more interested in managing their loot wisely and no more outrageous buying of properties for themselves and their girl friends, because we envisage they wont have access to funds to amass. This might affect the general property market as they could be a drop in demand

Most politician will be struggling to maintain their status and meet other financial challenges, this might led to having surplus properties in the market and be to the advantages of those with raw cash to acquire these properties at reasonable prices .

2. Contractors
Contractors who had it rosy under Jonathan administration might record some setbacks in this administration, because it might not be business as usual. even though Jonathan administration tried to clean up the process and ensure due process is followed but then we still find contractors picking contracts on the corridors of some Ministries and Parastatales. however, banking on Buhari's antecedents, a lot of tightening will be talking place, thereby, there wont be contracts laying fallow to be picked. Like we already know those into road construction contracts are already lamenting when the budget was slashed by 50% . This means that fewer roads and houses will be built. Maintenance will even be reduced as the budget would hardly pay salaries . So Contractors will have to find an alternative source of funding.

3.Politicians
Its no hidden fact that politics in Nigeria is a lucrative job, most people join politics to better their lots and improve on their standard of living, little wonder, why all manner of atrocities are committed to come into elective positions in Nigeria. Politicians with hope to amass wealth for themselves and families might not find this administration exciting enough for such purpose. for instance, there are calls from different quarters to slash the allowances and pay package of legislators and ministers, if such should take place, it will affect every other thing.

4. Interior decor and furniture
As politicians invest less in property and government invest less in housing, there will be less houses to furnish. Those  into interior decoration business importing expensive furniture and house hold items might suffer some decline in patronage

5.Event planners
High society events  might suffer some setbacks, as most event will done within the resources available. there will be a drastic reduction in lavish occasions/events, one politician trying to out do the other. the fear of EFCC is the beginning of wisdom

6. Hospitality Industry
Extravagant spending of Government resources on endless meetings, seminar, workshop and committee meetings will be slashed down, thereby affecting the hospitality sector. even when such is arranged, wastage is cut to the barest minimum

They will feel the heat. Imagine calling a politician who use to buy 10 pieces of latest Mercedes benz cars and give out to people, and he tells you to help him find buyer for the one you sold to him last time that he needs the money. There will even be less escort cars, as politicians who used 20 hilux cars might limit to 2 or 3. God help you.

8. Runs girls
You people are already complaining that the sugar chairmen are becoming stingy because of election. Now that most have lost, you will see the real stingyness. They will begin to appreciate their wives. Those that use to dash u 100,000 a night, might start to pay 10k. And if you say you wont take, hunger will kill you.

9. Human Hair delears
Anything that affects politicians affects runs girls, and anything that affects runs girls will affect human hair dealers. So you have to find alternative and more economic hair, Because the runs girls have tight budget now.

10. Boutiques
Those selling real expensive stuff will feel it too. As the politicians will be more interested in children school fees abroad, diesel for generator 24hrs, maintenance of the luxury houses they live in than clothes. The runs will spend less too. U dont expect a girl who use to make 100k a night and now getting 10k to buy a gown of 40k. Even Tonto Dike is now buying replica(fake) designers and refuse to pay ooo.

Other areas that could also be affected might include Banking sector, Forex, etc
