Is veteran Nollywood actress Mama G going to stop acting?  Fans are already complaining over the recent news that Mama G as popularly known may walk away from acting. This and many more questions have been on the lips of her numerous fans over the actress new found faith.


Patience Ozokwor popularly known as Mama G said she has a renewed her relationship with God and has surrender her life fully to him. Known for her various captivating and interesting  roles, a delight to watch. She said her focus now is to preaches the gospel more than ever before.  This drastic change has also affected her physical appearance which was seen as very modest with no makeup and her trademark dreadlocks  was not seen either. Her popular alias know as Mama G has been dropped as she stressed that she will no longer be addressed by that name being that old things has passed away

She narrated her encounter with Christ last January and how her whole life changed. Starttells caught up with her at a crusade organized by St. Marks Anglican Church in Eziobodo village of Imo State, where she shared her salvation experience.
 
She said  before now, her relationship with God has been a fair one where she takes most decision on her own, that she engages in yearly fasting at the beginning of every year, a step taken to hand over the whole year into God's hand. This activity for her was a yearly ritual, but, this year took a different dimension when God spoke through his holy spirit that she should fast for 21 days, this instruction did not go down well with her, because she has outlined jobs waiting for her, she registered her challenges in carrying out the said instruction, but instead of getting some kind of consideration, the Holyspirit extended it to 30day, this was because God want to use her to bring many to himself.  During this fasting period, she narrated how God said he will use her to touch lives through her movies and affect the movie industry.. She said  the phyiscal changes we are seeing are all God's instructions to her to change the way she looks. she encourage other artist to be modest in their dressing

When asked if she would drop Nollywood finally for the gospel of Christ, Patience Ozokwor narrated that the holy spirit has not specifically directed her to quit or not to. She said that she has not shot any movie since that encounter in January, that she used to get an average of N1.5million weekly, but that God has miraculously been providing her daily bread.
