Child Abuse: Police Has Arrested a Woman for Allegedly Burning 16-year-old With Hot Iron (SEE PHOTOS)

The Lagos state police arrested the woman on Tuesday, January 3rd, following the intervention of the state's domestic violence team in collaboration with the Ministry of youth and social development.
According to The Nation, the suspect known as Mama Emeka who is a guardian to the teenage girl has been maltreating her as reported by the her neighbours.   She took the 16year old girl to live with her after her mother abandoned her after the death of her father.


Residents of Fadeyi street claimed that Mama Emeka as fondly called has abused this girl severally and at one occasion  used razor blade to cut the her thighs. They added that she usually forced the 16-year-old to hawk and work into late hours of the night.

It was the residents who ensured that the suspect was apprehended and handed over to police, while the victim was taken into protective custody.

what manner of hatred and wickedness is this? Why is it so difficult for some women to show love to other people's children? Same way you carried yours for 9 months that is same way that that child was born, why treat them differently.
