Islam will be the world's popular religion by 2070.


According to Washington-based pew researching center,  Islam will overtake Christianity to become the world's most popular religion by 2070.

Researcher say migration is among factors helping to increase the Muslim population in some regions, include north America & Europe.

According to the research Islam  which is the fastest growing religion currently has 1.6Billion  adherent about 23% of the world's  population while Christian number 2.17Billion  which is 2.92% of the global population.

The research claims the increase is based on various rate of fertility,  Muslims 3.1 per woman and Christian at 2.7.

Christianity is also likely to suffer as more converts leave to become  non- religious or join other faith.

40 million people are projected to switch into Christianity globally while 106 million are predicted to leave.
