SAD: Childless Couple of 17 Years Loses Twins In An Accident

Why do bad things happen to good people?
What a terrible story! What a short lived joy! After 17 years of barrenness  and soon was given double for their shame only for it to be taken and just like a dream these couple are deep in sorrow as they wonder... What did we do wrong?

The Sunnews report that the Nasarawa State- born Mr Shedrack and his wife had been barren for 17 years, waiting and praying for the beautiful gift of Children. Their prayers were finally answered as they were blessed with these beautiful twins on the 7th of November, 2016 and while the celebration was still in full gear, they  decided to travel to Makurdi, Benue State on the invitation of a family friend to visit and use the opportunity to show the goodness of God.

It was an exciting trip until the unimaginable happened, their vehicle was involved in an accident; a vehicle loaded with yam coming from the opposite direction lost control while trying to avoid a pothole on the road rammed into them leaving tears, sorrow and blood.

Cute Baby Joseph and Philomena were among those that lost their lives in the ghastly accident that left the couples as the only survival unconscious. They were taken to the nearest General Hospital Dauda and later were transferred to Specialist Hospital Lafia, from where they were treated and certified fit to return home without their babies. What a world!

“My brother, life is worthless and meaningless to me now; I have surrendered my life to God. I am 50 years old while my wife is 42; we have allowed God to do His wish”, says Shedrack who has teary eyes while he recounts the incidents "

They said we should not ask God questions, but honestly, I got many questions for him.... WHY?
