Anambra State Under attack As Gunmen Invaded Church killing 50

It's a black Sunday in Anambra as the uncommon happened.  A group of gunmen stormed a Catholic Church in Ozubulu,  Ekwusigo LGA killing over 20 people on the spot and many others  wounded.


The victims were in the church for early morning Sunday mass when the gunmen stormed the church and blocked all the three entrances / exits, then began to shoot indiscriminately thereby causing chaos and commotion.

This is strange being that the state is more or less a Christian state,  therefore,  who will attack worshippers?

We pray that our security agencies will work tirelessly to bring perpetrators to book.

Governor Willie Obiano has visited the church and the Nnadi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital where over 50 doctors are batiling to save lives of the injured persons.
