President Buhari Did Not Consult National Assembly Before Approving $1b For Arms Purchase — Saraki

The  Senate President Bukola Saraki revealed yesterday, that President Muhammadu Buhari did not consult with the leadership of the National Assembly before the executive approved the release of $1 billion for the purchase of arms to fight insecurity in the country.

Remember that the minister of Defence, Mansur Dan Ali, had, last week, said, Buhari gave approval for the purchase of equipment for the military worth $1 billion.


How can a president of the federal republic  make such bogus approval with the National Assembly signing off on it. Is this a banana republic?


This on it own is impeachable offense but the Lily- livered house members are so afraid to even make the move! They are not just cowards but everyone of them have one skeleton or the other in their closets.

This is pathetic
