Where Is The Promised Change ?
I didn't campaign for APC neither did I vote for their presidential candidate. I saw beyond the make-up and the sugar coated lies.
I asked 'the How questions' but no answer was provided.
Their pack of lies blew across Nigeria like a smoke and many who inhaled it became intoxicated and like effect of marijuana they were high and excited, they let their intellects to be insulted and abuse, their judgement became clouded and with such effect, they spread their legs wide to be raped by men who ordinarily should be stoned.
Most of them followers that have regained sanity are wondering how they came about the decision to get into bed with these strange fellows.
The day is bright and the scales are off....songs of ' had I known' louds as Nigerians wails of hunger, starvation and hardship.
Some of us at a point doubted ourselves and our position ....we secretly asked ourselves....Is it possible for these million followers to be insane?
We secretly prayed that APC would live up to it expectations, that they will do things differently, they will weather storms, walk on water, bruise the head of any serpent and give us a new Nigeria where everything works! In a small little corner of my mind, I was expectant.
Then they came into power and proved me and few others right!
APC is the biggest fraud in the world! These group of deceptive and deadly ambitious elements came to steal, to kill and to destroy.
The lies and propaganda that brought them to power is still been reinforced and some of their followers who are still very much intoxicated have find themselves doing one thing and one thing only..defending and making excuses and annoyingly comparing them to past government!
Excuse me sir, did you not preach Change? Are we not supposed to see a change?
Change from how things are done in the past
Change from impunity
Change from corruption and stealing of government money
Change from misappropriation of funds
Change from tribalism and nepotism
Change from inequality
Change from how people are governed
Change from lack to abundance
Change from mediocrity in government
Change from wanton stealing....
But where is the Change? there is no change, rather a worse form of government ever witnessed!
They have impoverish us so badly that we are find it difficult to resist the carrot they dangle. Truth is if we resist the devil it will flee from us.
Another time has come, look into the faces of our little ones and do the right thing. please fight for the soul of Nigeria.
For once in our lives as Nigerians can we boldly do the right thing, can we collectively put ethnicity, religion and self interest aside and do the right thing?
Let us retire all these old and evil politicians that are cog in the wheel of progress for our country and push for people of decent minds to take over the leadership of Nigeria at different level....
