What Osinbajo Told The Abdulsalami - led Peace Committee About The Elections

When many heard that the Abdulsalami peace committee was meeting the vice president a SAN and a pastor, they expressed hope that the news coming out of that meeting will be refreshing as expectations were high in the camp of those who felt that the election was rigged.


Let me bust your bubbles....Nothing changed as vice president Yemi Osinbajo, inlaw to the great grand daughter of the late nationalist Chief Awolowo, an RCCG  Senior Pastor and a senior advocate of Nigeria SAN emphatically told the team of visitors that the election was won squarely by the APC!

He also said APC did not rig any election and their victory was not a fluke.

A source  at the meeting revealed what the Pastor turned politician said. “The Vice President told us how the APC deserved the victory it got and how President Buhari had transformed the economy and worked on the security architecture of the country. He spoke on how the Federal Government had used the military to restore peace to the North-East.

“He said the APC got the huge number of votes it got from the North-East because the voters wanted to show gratitude to the President and his team. He also explained how the President had usually got huge number of votes from both the North-East and North-West even when he was a member of a small political party that did not have any structure.”

After listening to the tales by moonlight,  Cardinal Onaiyekan told the vice-president that the President must pursue reconciliation and that it would not be good to have a divided country.

“The Cardinal  also told him (Osinbajo) that the Federal Government must listen to the people, pursue reconciliation,” the source added.

There you have it ladies and gentlemen,  If you were expecting the Pastor cum politician to say otherwise or even acknowledge the violence at the different parts of the country or speak against all the trending videos where people were not allowed to vote, then you will expect forever, cos thats not going to happen.
