Change is constant in life!
And that is why we say there is time for everything.
When it was time for us to join the rest of the world to have GSM/ mobile phones, no one could resist it...all they did was cash in because the clamour was so much and it was already spreading like wild fire across the world.
In same vain, things can only get better because the world is a global village where most things can be accessed online
If we refused to develop and advance like other countries, development and advancement will come to us wheather we like it or not, partly is to fulfil scripture and the easy reign of the Anti Christ and also because migration is part of human survival.
Our medical advancement is gradually improving, world class medical centers are opening up here and there in the country and only for a moment, the wind will blow across and your government will have no choice than to do the needful. Alot of successes are being recorded in that area presently.
The population of Nigeria is a huge plus and an excellent attraction to any serious business in the world but unfortunately, outsiders knows this better than most Nigerians.
Some China phone manufacturers especially the unpopular names are mostly for African consumption, you can't find some of them in the advanced countries because they cannot meet up with the standard but they have flooded our markets. They are fanciful, substandard, undurable, unreliable yet selling like wild fire, why, because there is a vacuum. Majority of the people want smartphones that can do what Samsung and the Iphones can do but do not have the resources to have those and someone thought it to bridge the gap.
Some Nigerians are already excelling in the electrical sector, energy bulbs, extentions, sockets etc.....we use to have nonsense fake China products in the markets, burning houses and wasting our money, some Nigerians went into research, putting into considering our power situation and the fluctuation of the currents. Then they came up with the right equation and send it to China for production, today we have FIRST POINT and other indigenous companies doing very well with a very good standard products for our consumption ...Did i mentioned that Nigerian wire is still the best.
I remember sometime ago, I wrote on the need to have a healthy competition in the aviation industry. Then Arikair was like the god of the industry, but before the end of the decade we have AirPeace, Azman, Max air and others. ...also alot of private jets business flooding the industry.
This is just to mentioned but a few from alot that is going on as advancement is catching up with us whether we like it or not...
Look at the entertainment industry, movies and music videos, look at your TV sets, we use to have just few channels, today they are hundreds of them......
Even if Nigeria is fragmented... which is near impossible, the various units are just few meters away from each other and are all hungry for better living. In summary, it's still a huge market.
Nigerians are naturally docile and receptive thereby making them a cash cow for anything seemly good.
Look around you and sort where you can strategically locate yourself in the scheme of things......because it can only get better..... put your brain and gift to work.
