This is the story as told by @99% Opressed.
"Three weeks ago a 25 year old girl was kidnapped along Kogi-Abuja road. The kidnappers reached out to her poor family to pay a ransom of 10 million naira, with threats that if they report her kidnap to the authorities, they will kill her. Her family even in the next 10 years can not raise 5 million naira, talk more of 10 million.
So they were in-between and in-betweens, on what to do. They waited for the kidnappers to call again, while they spread the sad news to family members for assistance and support. The kidnappers called and reduced the money to 5 million with threats to kill the girl. They gave her phone to speak to her parents, and she was crying so badly that she is being raped daily by both Fulani adults and children on gunpoint ππππ.
That her parents should do whatever the kidnappers say to spare her life. That they will kill her anytime soon. But the pain and trauma of being raped everyday is killing her.
The mother took all her wrappers and sold, the father travelled to their village to sell his farmland and farm produce. They were able to gather 370,000 naira in all. Family members and church members supported with 300,000 naira.
They somehow managed to get 750,000 naira after the father sold some old properties to add up. When the kidnappers called again, they told them they have 750,000 naira to pay. The kidnappers became furious, and ordered the girl to be raped while the phone was on. They threatened her parents that they will kill the girl if they put off the phone. The girl was screaming as they took turns ππππ.

Her mother cried and faintedπ At the end, they gave the family 3 million naira as last price, with 14 days period before killing her, if the ransom is not paid. But while they delay, they will keep raping her until the ransom is paid. The father had to take the risk to involve the police. He reported the case to the police, but rather than assist him, the police asked him to pay the money he doesn't have, before Anti-kidnapping unit can handle the case.
A relative of their's reached out to me on X (twitter) when police wasn't forthcoming with help or solution.
I was able to use a tracker to track their call locations to a forest in Nasarawa, Niger State and the last location in Kaduna. The father went to the police to tell them he has locations of the kidnappers, especially their last known location. The police told him to his face that that last location he mentioned in Kaduna State, no police team can go there. Unless the Army.
That the man will have to travel to Kaduna State to pursue the case. The father became hopeless and traumatized. He resorted to faith and prayers, while begging to raise money for his daughter's release.
The kidnappers reached out to the family earlier today, because the last day to make it 14 days is Tuesday 18th of June morning. The family has less than one million naira till now. ππππ"
When people say Nigerians have no help in tye security agencies, this is what its like. Its just so unfortunate.
One prayer you must pray daily as a Nigerian living in Nigeria is to be safe and healthy .
Please share this story to save this girl.
Please put that girl and her family in your prayers. They may kill her.
